This morning, 17 of the 20 departments in the Western defense and security zone were concerned by vigilance: snow and ice for 11 of them and winds for 6 of them.

Weather situation

As of 6 a.m., Thursday, November 21, 2024, sections of the national road network are subject to traffic bans and storage obligations for vehicles and combinations of vehicles whose total authorized weight (GVW) is greater than 7.5 tonnes, on the following axes: N12, N164, N176, A84, N174, A11, N154, A28 (locations and storage areas specified in the zonal decree)
These traffic restriction measures are not applicable to:
- emergency vehicles and equipment,
- intervention vehicles and equipment (road managers' operating equipment, transport of snow salt and road melting agents, electricity and gas network managers' equipment).
The speed of vehicles authorized to circulate is limited to 70 km/h without prejudice to more restrictive speed limits.
