The 4th edition of “Permis pour tous” took place in Castelsarrasin on November 16. For this new edition, Florence Guillaume, Road Safety Delegate, honored the event with her presence.
After the success of the three previous editions, the 4th session of the operation “Permit for all” was held on Saturday November 16 in Castelsarrasin. Organized under the leadership of Vincent Roberti, Prefect of Tarn-et-Garonne, and Bruno Sauvage, Public Prosecutor, this initiative aims to raise awareness among young people about road safety while offering them a unique opportunity to access a driving license training.
A guest of honor for a strong message
For this new edition, Florence Guillaume, Road Safety Delegate, honored the event with her presence. Speaking to around a hundred young people from Tarn-et-Garonnais gathered for the occasion, she insisted on the importance of caution and responsibility while driving. “Your behavior as future drivers is essential to guarantee your safety and that of other users,” she declared, before recalling that young people remain among the categories most exposed to the risk of road accidents.
Workshops, prevention and rewards
The day, punctuated by interactive workshops organized by the prefecture's road safety office, allowed participants to better understand the issues related to driving: management of risky situations, awareness of blood alcohol levels, vehicle control, or even the first aid actions.
Highlight of the session: Florence Guillaume presented the three winners of this edition with a very valuable prize. These young people, rewarded for their commitment and seriousness during the workshops, received comprehensive training in highway code and driving licenses, financed to the tune of €1,500 each.
Collective mobilization for road safety
The event was made possible thanks to the involvement of numerous partners:
- ECF driving school and the Centaure company, for their training expertise;
- The SDIS and the policewho led practical and educational workshops;
- The Departmental Council, the town of Castelsarrasin and the insurer Groupamawho provided financial support;
- The Montauban Services association and the Jean de Prades High Schoolfor their commitment to young people.
“In a department like Tarn-et-Garonne, where road safety remains a major issue, such initiatives make perfect sense,” underlined Prefect Vincent Roberti.
A promising outcome
The 4th edition of “License for All” is fully part of a long-term prevention approach, aimed at empowering the drivers of tomorrow. With ever-increasing mobilization, this event continues to demonstrate the effectiveness of collective action to reduce accidents and promote safer driving on the department's roads.
An appointment has already been made for a next edition, in order to continue this civic momentum in the service of road safety.
