On Wednesday, Arnaud Cousin, candidate of the New Popular Front in the 2nd constituency of Pas-de-Calais (Arrageois), was moved on his Facebook page by an anomaly in the distribution of professions of faith, ballot papers and envelopes, sent by State services, through a service provider, to the home of each voter in the targeted territory. “Since this afternoon, we have received around a hundred messages and calls informing us of the absence of our ballots and professions of faith in the envelopes sent to voters in the constituencyhe laments. This calls into question the sincerity and fairness of this vote, which we demonstrate to you in this video.”

For its part, the Prefecture of Pas-de-Calais tells us that “several candidates have reported difficulties relating to the distribution of their propaganda (ballots and/or professions of faith missing in the envelope received by certain voters) in the 2nd and 4th districts Verifications are underway with the routing provider in order to take stock of these difficulties beyond the control of the administration. She also writes that: Ballots for all candidates will be available at polling stations on Sunday.
