The morbid and victimized delirium of the Left has reached the height of stupidity with these legislative elections! In Rennes, here is the report of the last meeting of the CSPSP35, “Collective of Support for Undocumented People”.

Apparently, after the next elections, a dictatorship will be established in France and “foreigners” have to fear “for their skin”. Lunar!

Lots of action to come but not busy

After a great exhibition of panels and a large distribution of leaflets around fifteen times at Place de la République, there were 17 of us at the AGM, a third of whom were foreigners.

We decided the following things:

1) Following the municipal repression and the major blow of the message from the TNB management, we are suspending the attempts to occupy and changing our logic: since the Collective is unable to launch an occupation alone to create a rallying point, we are proposing to hold a general meeting together next Monday at 7:30 p.m. with all the groups/collectives/networks that will join us.

The location of the AGM is not confirmed but we will ask the National Choreographic Center of Brittany to host us.

The late schedule chosen aims to take into account the possibility of a demonstration on Monday evening following the results of the first round.

Given the results announced for the far right, there will undoubtedly be reason to react and invent (re)action.

The job therefore consists of going wherever something is happening and/or contacting all the networks to offer them this AGM which will aim to build together a possible joint action that will have to be created together.

A special press release will follow and must be distributed.

2) We are organizing the anti-racist evening tomorrow evening at the Vent workshops from 7 p.m. (address = 59 Rue Alexandre Duval, 35000 Rennes). We will offer a participatory course entitled “Are there too many immigrants in France?” as well as a presentation in the form of a quiz of the RN program on foreigners and immigration, ending with the exhibition panels.

A giant aperitif and on-site catering will also be offered at a free price.

3) Considering the political context and the urgency to save the skin of foreigners and the associations that support themwe are canceling several planned actions: the picnic this Saturday, the regional action against Bouygues.

On the other hand, we are planning a big festive picnic on Wednesday July 10 from 6 p.m. if the RN does not come to power (to be confirmed next Tuesday).

4) We are planning several times for leafleting and public appearances (we are a bit short of people so contact us personally if you are available to participate in these appearances, especially the one on Saturday in Fougères):

* tomorrow Wednesday June 26 at 11 a.m. at the Ste Thérèse market (meet in front of the tea room) = we will distribute the announcement of the evening of the wind workshops and the leaflet against the RN program;

* Friday June 28 at 1:30 p.m. in front of a mosque (the exact meeting will be specified tomorrow) = we will distribute the leaflet against the RN program there;

* Friday June 28 at 6 p.m. in front of another mosque (the exact appointment will be specified tomorrow) = we will distribute the leaflet against the RN program;

* Saturday June 29 at 10 a.m. = departure of a group provided to make an appearance on the Fougères market (in conjunction with locals) = Meet at the metro exit of Cesson-Viasilva station (line B) with several cars planned = the idea is to go and install the exhibition panels and distribute leaflets against the RN program.

If the group judges that it is not sufficiently supplied, the departure will be canceled and replaced by a tow at 10:30 a.m. to the Blosne market.

If people are available, we would also like to go and collect at the Villejean market on Friday at 11 a.m. and at the CAN on Saturday around 3 p.m. but we do not have volunteers to organize this for the moment. Please contact us if you can.

5) We will participate in an agora on the role of work for people from outside the Polyblosne on Thursday July 11 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. We are organizing it in partnership and we will bring several foreign people to testify about professional, voluntary, domestic, activist work, etc.

Of course, if the RN comes to power, this agora will undoubtedly change its theme urgently…

Come on, over the past two weeks, we’ve taken a few hits to our joy and desire, but we can’t give up! We are perhaps living the last days of a legal existence as a Collective supporting “illegal immigrants”. It’s when we’ve lost everything that we realize that we still had things, so let’s not wait until July 7 to at least save our right to exist! For undocumented immigrants as a priority!
