This Thursday, November 21 at the end of the afternoon, the Bheki system strengthened and regained the status of moderate tropical storm, while it was 80 km east-southeast of Reunion Island in 4 p.m., specifies Météo France.
The intensification is temporary and Bheki is expected to weaken again over the next twelve hours, while moving away from populated land.

Its distance marks a gradual improvement in the weather. Tonight, rain will be rarer. As for minimum temperatures, they remain above seasonal norms. 23 to 25°C are expected on the coast.
The yellow wave-submersion vigilance issued since 9 a.m., for an area going from Cap Chevron (Saint-Joseph) to Champ-Borne (Saint-André), via Pointe de la Table (Saint-Philippe) is valid until 9 p.m. The wind will weaken in the first part of the night before strengthening again on the west and east coasts of the island.
The yellow strong wind alert issued for the West and East zones will also end at 9 p.m. The sea is still rough at the start of the night in the East and the Wild South. This 3 meter swell at the start of the night subsides to around 2 meters at the end of the night.
