Finally! It took a long time to come to fruition. The French team faced Belgium this Monday, 1is July in the round of 16 of Euro 2024. Didier Deschamps’ players have long had sterile possession. They tried to find the opening on numerous occasions, without managing to deceive the Red Devils goalkeeper, Koen Casteels.

The opening was finally found at the end of the match, with a goal from Kolo Muani, or rather with an own goal from Jan Vertonghen (1-0, 85′). The Belgian defender unfortunately deflected the shot of the French striker who had returned a few minutes in place of Marcus Thuram.
