That’s it, the first The Voice Café was born ! It has been open since Thursday, June 27, 2024 at Villeneuve-d’Ascq, in the Aushopping shopping center V2. For its inauguration, the presenter Nikos et Alphonse, winner of 2024, was present. Ambiance.

Until the last minute before opening, the site was refined. The workers were still busy with the final preparations while the first guests pushed open the doors. It must be said that the work was very tight to ensure the opening on time. But that’s it, the first “The Voice Café” has opened!

The brand revealed its bright red showcase over 600 m2with numerous screens, a stage, and two mythical emblems of the TV show: the armchair and a giant hand making the “V”.

We were also able to discover the famous red burgers, called “Buzzburger”, an invention of the place, which are intended to recall the buzzer of the show!

Nikos came to host this inauguration with his legendary good humor. “It is thanks to the public that we are here, it is you who build this unbreakable bond. It is a powerful bond built for 12 years, the meeting of families. This pleasure of exchanging as we do around a table, that is also the concept of The Voice and The Voice Café.”

You have to love people to do this job as a singer. We sing to share, to enhance everyday life, not necessarily to make a career.

Bruno Berbères, casting and artistic director of The Voice, made a promise: “You will often see me here, it’s a bit like our home. I’m thinking of all the northern talents on the show, Louane, Max… We hope to make a monthly selection of singers here.”

Create other “The Voice cafés”

On the Aushopping side, Aurélien Grolin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of NHOOD, is delighted with this arrival: “We have 300 shopping centres in France. This is a pioneering place here, we hope to create 15 in France quickly in our centres, and thus create places where people have fun and not just eat.”

François Pellissier, Deputy General Manager Business and Sport at TF1, explained: “This opening is a world first! With 279 shows in 12 years and 39 million viewers, we want to create a place to meet up with family, friends, and business. With Camping Paradis, we opened campsites. Today, we are becoming restaurateurs. It’s a great project, we are proud.”

Thierry Lachkar, President of ITV France, added: “In 2012, for the first show of The Voice, we had 9 million viewers. That day changed my life. France is an exception in the world of The Voice, we are the country that sells the most records linked to the show and has the most emerging talents.”

Talents like Alphonse, 17, is the winner of The Voice 2024. Just after his baccalaureate, passed only a few days ago, he was in Villeneuve d’Ascq to share a few songs. He also symbolically cut the red ribbon for the café’s inauguration.
