On Monday, April 8, 2024, the municipal council of Vannes (Morbihan) validated the dismissal of Christine Penhouët from her role as deputy mayor, after an altercation between the elected official and a civil servant from the children’s service that had degenerated. The elected official, who had become a simple municipal councilor, lost her delegations for children and education. They have just been reallocated. Fabien Le Guernevé is now first deputy mayor in charge of culture, heritage, education (schools, school meals) and youth. Virginie Talmon becomes deputy mayor in charge of health, seniors and intergenerational links, family and children (multi-reception and leisure centers).
