AFIA and the University of La Rochelle are joining forces to organize the seventeenth Artificial Intelligence Platform — PFIA 2024 from July 1 to 5, 2024.

Previous editions were held in Palaiseau (1999), Grenoble (2001), Laval (2003), Nice (2005), Grenoble (2007), Hammamet (2009), Chambéry (2011), Lille (2013), Rennes (2015). ), Caen (2017), Nancy (2018), Toulouse (2019), Angers (2020), Bordeaux (2021), Saint-Etienne (2022) and Strasbourg (2023).

Thomas Guyet is an Inria researcher in Lyon, responsible for the PFIA. He explains : “The goal of the PFIA platform is to allow the scientific community in artificial intelligence to meet in order to discuss new work and new approaches. The AI ​​platform constitutes a unique and friendly meeting point for the AI ​​community to bring together the different disciplines that compose it and to establish bridges between them. To this end, this platform is aimed at the entire French-speaking Artificial Intelligence community so that it can address common issues.”

Five conferences

For its 2024 edition, the AI ​​Platform is hosting five conferences, three thematic days, five workshops, eight tutorials, a fun Jam throughout the week and an AI day in New Aquitaine. PFIA 2024 welcomes more than 300 participants, including seven guest presentations from leading figures.
