The prefect of Landes, Françoise Tahéri, assures this in a press release. She will file a complaint against the Coordination rurale (CR)guilty, according to her, of having damaged the premises of the MSA in Mont-de-Marsan, on Wednesday November 20, by illegal dumping or of having “voluntarily started a fire in the premises of the Departmental Directorate of Territories (DDTM)”.

The prefect of Landes strongly condemns the damage committed by members of the Rural Coordination this Wednesday evening, November 20 on the MSA and DDTM sites in Mont-de-Marsan. These acts are unacceptable and harm the agricultural cause.

Reimbursement of expenses incurred

She plans to take legal action to “request reimbursement of the costs incurred for the repair of state premises,” she explains. She wanted to provide her full support “to the President and agents of the MSA as well as to the director and agents of the DDTM. She also warmly thanks “the security forces and firefighters engaged in ensuring the maintenance of order and the safety of all”.

The CR continues its actions

On the ground, Rural Coordination continues to put pressure. The Saint-Avit roundabout is always occupied by tractors and other trucks. La Scalandes still remains blocked by demonstrators and a new action should take place this Thursday in front of the prefecture buildings.
