The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have unveiled the trailer for their new Netflix production. A documentary series dedicated to the British royal family's favorite sport.

Their first and last names are displayed in capital letters in the first seconds of the trailer. The viewer is thus warned: “By the executive producers, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Duke and Duchess of Sussex.” The princely couple unveils their new project, the trailer for a documentary series entitled Poloan emblematic sport notably practiced by members of the Crown, which will be available from December 10 on Netflix. “Poloor behind the hectic and glamorous backstage of sport,” announces the streaming platform.

This new project marks the big return of Lilibet and Archie's parents to Netflix, two years after the broadcast of the documentary Harry & Meghanwhich retraced their lives. This time, the couple should not appear on screen (although doubts remain), as the focus of the series is not on them, but on the poloPrince Harry's favorite sport, inherited from his father, Charles III. Neither the royal family nor the United Kingdom would, however, be part of the project, which is exclusively focused on the United States.

The world's elite players

We will notably discover the lives of great figures of this equestrian sport, where two teams of riders compete by sending a ball into the opposing camp using a mallet. The cameras will follow “the world's elite players on and off the field as they compete for the highly competitive US Open Polo Championship,” the pitch explains. Spectators will also delve into the great daily challenges of these players, as well as their sumptuous private lives, between sports cars, luxury equines and major celebrities in the stands. An immersion in the vein of the documentary series Formula 1: Drivers of their destiny.
