There is no shortage of ideas at the L’Expériment’Halle brewery in the Dax halls. We create beers in collaboration with artisans and producers. Local beers that reflect our terroir and are increasingly popular.

After the Dax thermal water beer of which there are no more bottles left, the brewery The Experiment’Halle de Dax is back with some very nice new beers. And there is something for everyone:

  • pelargonium beer from Yannick Fournet in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul (rosat pelargonium, mint-lemon and leather).
  • Salies-de-Béarn salt beer (plain, with feijoa and Lectoure melon).
  • peanut macaron beer in collaboration with Dacquois chocolatier Hugues Gaudet from Un Bain au Chocolat, a pastry sour, this beer with a dessert taste.
  • honey beer from Manciet du Rucher de Jouanchiq.

Beers to enjoy nice and cold this summer, but above all beautiful beers that showcase the region and the terroir. That’s the idea, to offer new flavors, new tastes and collaborate with the local forces. For example, while listening to the France Bleu Gascogne culinary show “Bienvenue Chez Vous” our brewers from Dax discovered Yannick Fournet’s pelargonium production in Saint-Vincent-de-Paul and met him to develop three sublime beers that leave no one indifferent.
For Salies-de-Béarn salt beers, it is obvious for Cyril Meyer who loves Goses, these salty and tangy beers, creating them with Salies salt seemed essential.
As for macaroon and peanut beer, the famous pastry sour, we had to suspect that our friend chocolatier and pastry chef Hugues Gaudet had something to do with it, he who loves to collaborate and try new products. So if you have a “sweet tooth” you will love it, that’s for sure.
Finally the honey beer, a nice collaboration with Frédéric the Gascon beekeeper for “regressive and comforting” beers which generally appeal to the greatest number of people.
