Hey, how we meet again! Like last season, the Bordeaux Boxers will play their first match of the season at home against the Marseille Spartans. This time it will be from 1re day, scheduled for Friday, September 13. Last year, the match could not take place as planned, an ice problem generating fog making the match impossible. A technical problem that the Bordeaux City Hall managed to resolve, while waiting for a more efficient system.

The first part of the season.

The Bordeaux team will get straight to the heart of the matter against last season’s surprise team: the newly promoted Marseille team played the spoilsport and almost eliminated the Boxers in the quarter-finals. The 7th round of their match greatly contributed to their title of vice-champions of France by triggering an irresistible dynamic, only thwarted by Rouen. The Dragons, for their part, will play this 1re day a little later, October 20, against Angers, due to their participation in the European Cup.

The Bordelais will then continue with a trip to Angers, the reception in Amiens, a trip to Rouen then to Anglet for the neo-Aquitaine derby, the last round of a very copious month of September. They will close the regular phase on February 21 at home, against Briançon, 44e championship match.

The second part of the season.

Furthermore, the first round of the Coupe de France will take place on September 30. The final is scheduled for January 21.

Before that, the Boxers will have put their skates back on during preparation matches in Mériadeck against the Utica Pioneers (United States) on Wednesday August 21 then against Angers on Friday August 30, before a “return match” in Anjou two days later, on Sunday August 1is september.
