The Grasse criminal court found Bruno Vandelli and Jessy Bourgeois guilty of corruption of a minor this Friday afternoon.
The famous Cannes choreographer62, and her ex-husband, 31, appeared in court on April 17. They were charged with sending pornographic photos and videos to a teenager between October 2016 and March 2017.
Arthur, a former student of their summer courses in Cannes, accused his two teachers of having slipped up when he was 14 or 15 years old. After an ambiguous artistic melee with Jessy Bourgeois, the couple addressed her explicit contentA 15-second video showing them in the act of intercourse was discovered on his cell phone.
Bruno Vandelli and Jessy Bourgeois had both expressed remorse. They had put this exchange on “a moment of weakness”, dictated by excitement. Exchange interrupted as soon as the age of their student was known, according to Bruno Vandelli.
Echo to Yanis Marshall’s accusations
Prosecutor Alain Guimbard had requested a one-year suspended prison sentence for Bruno Vandelli, an 8-month suspended sentence against Jessy Bourgeois, as well as a ban on carrying out any activity in contact with minors for five years. The defense pleaded for acquittal.
The criminal court respectively sentenced Bruno Vandelli at one year suspended prison sentence et Jessy Bourgois 8 months suspended. But also a prohibition on carrying out an activity in contact with minors for 3 years for Bruno Vandelli and 4 months for Jessy Bourgeois.
This case echoes the accusations made by Yanis Marshall, a choreographer from Grasse, towards Bruno Vandelli. Last January, the former dance teacher from Star Academy (TF1) filed a complaint for “rape”, “sexual assault on a minor under 15” and “corruption of a minor” against the ex-juror of Popstars (M6). The latter refutes these accusations and mentions “a love story”.
The case is still ongoing.
