A Palestinian delegation was received at the Moroccan House of Advisors. It has just expressed its gratitude for the Kingdom’s support for its cause.

A Palestinian delegation visiting Morocco was welcomed by the President of the House of Councilors, Enaam Mayara. She expressed her gratitude to the Kingdom for its constant support for the Palestinian cause. This recognition is part of a visit organized by the Bayt Mal Al Quds Agency.

The members of the delegation particularly welcomed the efforts of King Mohammed VI to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people, particularly through a recent humanitarian operation in favor of residents of the Gaza Strip. This gesture adds to a series of Moroccan initiatives aimed at strengthening solidarity with Palestine.

The Palestinian people, facing the challenges of the war in the Gaza Strip, continue to count on Morocco’s unwavering support, the delegation stressed. Mr. Mayara reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian resistance and defending its legitimate rights.

The Palestinian cause, anchored in Morocco’s national values, benefits from the country’s political, diplomatic and humanitarian support. The Moroccan Parliament, in particular, positions itself as an active defender of Palestinian rights on the international stage.

The Bayt Mal Al Qods Agency, under the auspices of King Mohammed VI, continues to protect the holy city of Jerusalem and support the resistance of the Maqdessis. This meeting demonstrates Morocco’s commitment to the Palestinian cause and the role of the Agency in this context.

The visit of the Palestinian delegation, which ends today, is part of a process of consultation aimed at defining priority interventions in Jerusalem, following the tragic events of October 7, 2023.
