SHOWS. Luc De Larochellière, Renée Wilkins and Alicia Deschênes are among the headliners of the fall programming at the Coaticook Arts and Culture Pavilion.

The cultural institution made the announcement in recent days. Its general director, Daphnée Lebrun, says she has put together an offer for all tastes, combining song, humor, youth production and oratorical art. “This programming is very diverse,” she emphasizes. We paid particular attention to the requests of our spectators. In the past, I would say that a quarter of the public’s suggestions found their way into our schedule, while this year, the proportion is around a third. »

As mentioned above, Renée Wilkins (October 18), Luc De Larochellière (October 19) and Alicia Deschênes (October 27) will take the stage at the Pavillon des arts. Tributes to Metallica, AlcoholicA, as well as AC/DC, High Voltage, have also been scheduled for September 20 and November 15.

New Brunswick guitarist Shaun Ferugson and folk and trad singer-songwriter Sahult complete the musical portion.

Familiar faces and up-and-coming comedians will take part in two performances of La Route du rire, on September 27 and November 1.

Note also the presentation of shows by artists from the region, including those of the Scèneux du Pavillon theater troupe and the artisans of “C’est Thi-bault Noël”. A second part of the “Passion Elton” show, with Caroline Roy and Réjean Audet at the helm, is scheduled for November 16.

The dinner show formula will be offered as an option for certain dates.

WHAT FOR THIS WINTER?

The winter lineup has not been announced, but it should be after the start of the school year. It was possible to learn that Émile Bilodeau, Mariana Mazza and Marie-Denis Pelletier will be making a stop in Coaticook.

Café-concerts as well as “5 à 7” will also be back.
