Expected at the burned-out school in Meyzieu, Gabriel Attal cancelled at the last minute following tensions between the Les Républicains mayor, Christophe Quiniou, and the Renaissance MP, Sarah Tanzilli, in front of the Marcel-Pagnol school group at the end of the morning.

According to the outgoing elected representative of the majority, the mayor was informed by him at 5:30 p.m. Thursday June 27 of the arrival of Gabriel Attal to provide his support to the educational team. “I told you that you will be contacted about this,” she says in front of the building.

As a reminder, young minors set fire to the Marcel-Pagnol school complex in Meyzieu. They filmed their act which was widely broadcast on social networks on June 19, provoking general indignation. They boasted in particular of having “burned the entire school”.
