Julie Tassin, Jeanne-Hachette 2024

This year it is Julie Tassin who was elected Jeanne-Hachette 2024. She will be accompanied byAlexandre De Noni who was elected Colin Pilon 2024. Those who have the chance to embody the women who saved Beauvais were chosen during an election evening last April. At the head of the assault processions, we will discover the Jeanne Hachette group composed of Jeanne-Hachette and her bridesmaids.

Volunteers and merchants in disguise

As for the parade, about a hundred volunteers will be dressed up in period clothing. The costumes were made at the Boileau Tower. The association of friends of the Jeanne-Hachette festivals encourages all merchants and spectators to dress up for the occasion.

Around ten merchants from downtown Beauvais also dressed up on Saturday, June 30, for the Jeanne-Hachette celebrations. It’s a first to have so many volunteers to dress in their most beautiful medieval costume. An example for others to follow!
