During the celebration of the centenary of the Declaration of the Rights of Children, the Paris History Museum – better known as the Carnavalet Museum – is offering a great festive day for young and old.
One hundred years… It's worth celebrating! So, the Saturday November 23, 2024the Carnavalet museum in the city of Paris invites young and old with their families during a great festive day to celebrate the centenary of the Declaration of the Rights of Children.
As a reminder, it was in 1924 that the Declaration of the Rights of the Child was born, when the League of Nations laid the foundations of children's rights, during theadoption of the Geneva Declaration. So, to celebrate this great advance in the field of child protection, the Carnavalet museum is joining forces with the direction of Solidarités de la ville de Paris to offer lots of free activities for children.
On the program? Discover a fun course led by volunteers from the “Child Rights” Mission but also, shows for toddlersa participatory fresco and one free eveningwith dance and music and flash visits to discover the museum's permanent collections.

Flash visit with the family: discovery of the museum with a guide-lecturer

Toddler show “Straight ahead with little cat!”
- At 4 p.m. and 5 p.m., for children aged 1 to 5
