While snowfall is forecast in the Alps and south of the Grenoble metropolitan area, the passage of the Storm Caetano in the north of Isère should be synonymous with violent gusts of wind, this Thursday, November 21, 2024.
Here is the weather forecast.
Orange vigilance activated
From this Thursday at 1 p.m., the Isère department switches to orange alert for violent winds, like the Rhône and the Loire.
The most powerful gusts should be noted in the north of the department. According to Météo-France forecasts, they could reach 105 km/h in Villefontaine and Tour-du-Pin.
As the evening progresses, the violent winds will move towards the Alpine massifs where gusts of 80 to 100 km/h should be recorded.
In terms of temperature, the maximum for the day will be reached in Grenoble with 14°C.
A lull on Friday
From the start of the day, Friday November 22 will mark a lull in the Isère department.
Temperatures will remain cool for the season, but the sky will be clear over a large part of the territory.
