In Finistère and particularly in Quimper, the Massé-Trévidy Foundation aims to help, without exclusion of age or situation, people in difficulty whom it welcomes in more than thirty establishments and services spread over the territory.

Home autonomy management

A so-called “sheltering” foundation, it can take other structures under its wing. It is in this capacity that it will integrate next year the Acimad association (100 employees), specialized in home help operating in the areas of Douarnenez, Quimper and Plogonnec.

“We are working on a major project, that of the pathway for elderly people losing their autonomy in Quimper, announces Stéven Tréguer, general director of the Massé-Trévidy Foundation. One of the challenges is the management of autonomy at home with the Acimad association. This also allows us to think about what the nursing home of the future is.” This will be an opportunity for employees to accompany the person being cared for at home to the nursing home.

The structure operates in three main areas: elderly people weakened by age or disability (55% of activities), childhood and family, training and integration. It has 1,000 employees and affects nearly 2,000 people in Finistère.
