The Olympic flame enters Haute-Marne this Friday, June 28. The route begins on the Langres plateau and ends in Saint-Dizier.

43rd stage for the famous Olympic flame. Less than a month before the Paris Olympic Games, it’s a day of celebration in Haute-Marne. This Friday, June 28, seven municipalities in this department will be crossed by the Olympic flame. In total, 117 flame bearers will cross all the municipalities concerned during the day. The journey of the flame can be followed live on the official channel France.tv Paris 2024.

The first lighting takes place in Langres at 9:30 am. Then head to the spa town of Bourbonne-les-Bains, Nogent, the capital of prosthetics, Colombey-les-Deux-Églises, the village of General De Gaulle, Chaumont, Froncles, before finishing in the “celebration town” of Saint-Dizier, where a cauldron will be lit by the fire of the last flame carried to the Parc du Jard. Judoka Axel Clerget must light the cauldron.

The Haute-Marne Departmental Council financed this passage to make it “a unique event and even a historic moment. It is also an extraordinary opportunity to show the diversity of our territory in terms of sport, industry, culture as well as the strength of its associative fabric.
