The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) admitted to its bond market, this Wednesday, June 26, 2024, three new securities of the State of Senegal. It was on the occasion of the first listing ceremony of the loans: “State of Senegal 6.25% 2024-2029”, “State of Senegal 6.45% 2024-2031” and “State of Senegal 6.65% 2024-2034” held in Abidjan at the headquarters of the sub-regional Institution, reports a press release used by Dakaractu.

Through this public call for savings operation carried out on the WAEMU Regional Financial Market, the State of Senegal was able to mobilize a total amount of more than 265 billion CFA francs in three tranches with rates ranging from 6 .25% to 6.65% over maturities of 05 to 10 years, with a view to financing investments planned in its 2024 budget, the document informs.

“These three bond issues mark the very notable return of the State of Senegal to the BRVM, which was designated “Bond Issuer of the Year” on the occasion of the 5th edition of the BRVM Awards held in Abidjan on 06 and 07 last June, indicated the Director General of the BRVM who underlined that this operation was arranged and carried out on the UEMOA Regional Financial Market by the Management and Intermediation Company Invictus Capital & Finance SA, Leader of the operation and SGI CGF Bourse and ABCO BOURSE, co-lead managers.
