Gunshots ring out not far from the city center of Bezons (Val-d'Oise). Wednesday November 20, 2024, it was 1:17 p.m. when firefighters were called to take care of a man found wounded by bullets at 6, rue Jean-Baillet. A few moments earlier, the police had been alerted following several detonations heard in the neighborhood by local residents.

When they arrived, emergency services discovered a man aged around 30 on the ground. Conscious, the latter presented injuries to a forearm and calf. Taken care of by the firefighters, the thirty-year-old received first aid on site before being evacuated in relative emergency, and under police escort, to the Argenteuil hospital center. His vital prognosis was not in jeopardy..
According to Actu17, eight cases corresponding to the shots were discovered in rue Hoche, a few dozen meters from where the victim was discovered. The latter was reportedly injured as she fled to escape the shooter, whose identity remains to be determined.
An investigation was opened and entrusted to the Argenteuil police station.
