A 100% retro village!
Located in the heart of the historic center of Saumur, bordered by the Loire and the Château, the retro village of Anjou Vélo Vintage welcomes more than 140 exhibitors ready to share their passion with you. From Friday to Sunday, they will unveil the latest trends inherited from the past in a lively and offbeat atmosphere.
Free and open to all, the retro village will appeal to fans of vintage fashion and decor (outfits and accessories, vintage furniture collections). Gastronomy and wines from the Loire Valley will also be there! Strolling through the aisles of the largest flea market for vintage bicycle parts in Europe,
enthusiasts of yesteryear’s cycling will be able to hunt and unearth old treasures, bikes from another era and exceptional pieces: derailleurs, cranksets, and other wooden rims. An annual meeting around a common desire, that of uniting and bringing together amateurs and professionals who love vintage.
Un festival vintage
For three days, Anjou Vélo Vintage transports you into a 100% offbeat universe thanks to a wide range of activities and a wild program. Musicians, jazz and swing singers and dancers, peddlers and street criers… An unusual and diverse selection of artists will transport the public to an era where energy continues to fascinate young and old. Shows, initiations and wandering shows: the travel machine is in motion! Festival-goers are invited to come and party from Friday to Saturday, from the tavern evening to the big swing ball, a glass of fine bubbles in one hand, a dance partner in the other. What if you became the king of retro dances? Whether you choose Lindy Hop (couple dance), Charleston (solo dance) or Burlesque Stripping, our experienced teachers will teach you the sweet charm of swing from the 20s, 30s and 50s! From beginner to advanced courses, there is something for all levels! The course will be given to you in the magnificent setting of the Saumur theater (in the heart of the vintage village).
