In the afternoon, their STI2D final year peers from the general and technological high school went to the site. The company specializing in the design and manufacture of industrial packaging had put together a visit to introduce you to the various departments within the company. In the production workshop, they were able to observe the filling, printing, extrusion and bagging. The tour ended with a friendly Kahoot quiz and a snack.
This Wednesday, it was the turn of students of 2nde general and technological to get to the heart of a company. SATAB in Saint-Just-Malmont, which makes rigid or elastic ribbons, straps, braids, mesh, offered to welcome these young people who are following the engineering sciences option. The visit was therefore logically focused on the production part (warping, weaving, knitting, packaging).
