Candidate for the right-wing primary for the 2017 presidential election, Bruno Le Maire presented his political project in a 1,012-page tome two months before the first round. In 2024, the programs of the candidates for the early legislative elections of June 30 and July 7 are much less extensive. That of the presidential majority, Ensemble, is a dozen pages long, that of the National Rally around twenty, while the project of the New Popular Front has twenty-four. The Republicans are content with a profession of faith of ten points.

This lightning campaign, following the dissolution of the National Assembly, is unique in its kind. But voters must choose the 577 deputies who will vote on the country’s laws over the next few years, and need to know their political priorities.

The world has listed the positions of the four major political parties in the running – Nouveau Front populaire, Ensemble, Les Républicains and Rassemblement national – on fourteen themes, by reviewing the published programs, soliciting the parties and compiling the recent interventions of their leaders. This comparison, which is not exhaustive, was updated on Monday, June 24 after Jordan Bardella’s press conference; it will be completed as the campaign progresses.

It can be explored by theme or by party (the order of appearance is random).
