It's always an anticipated time of year. On Friday November 22, 2024, the Christmas market in Mulhouse will open its doors, a few days before that of Colmar. For a month, the atmosphere of winter festivities will settle in the city of Haut-Rhin.
Activities for the city’s 800th anniversary
The Christmas market 2024 edition will be a little special: it coincides with the anniversary of the 800 years of Mulhouse. To celebrate this, a magnificent program has been planned.
In particular, there will be a sound and light show which will be played regularly (every 15 minutes between 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. square de la Bourse), different guided tours or various and varied demonstrations. In addition to all this, a custom-made fabric will be visible during this month of celebration.
The Mulhouse Christmas Market will be open from Friday November 22 to Friday December 27, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. In addition, on December 24 and 27 it will close at 6 p.m. It will be closed on December 25 and will open at 12 p.m. on the 26th.
The city center will be completely pedestrianized, so don't hesitate to wander through every nook and cranny, and don't miss the tree on Place des Victoires.
