The outgoing LR MP for Alpes-Maritimes, who crossed the Rubicon by allying himself with the RN, gathered his supporters for a final meeting before the first round, Thursday June 27.
For his last campaign meeting, in Nice, Eric Ciotti tries to put on his best face: a big smile, great optimism and a little facelift. The facade of its office has changed banner. The tricolor “Les Républicains” sign was replaced during the day by a blue “Republicans on the right” sign. The rupture embodied by the president of LR, at war with almost all the other figures of the party since his decision to ally with the National Rally, is now written on the facade.
