This Thursday, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Regional Council met for a full hour to vote on the 2023 management and administrative accounts. Before disappearing, since the president cannot take part in the debate and the vote on the budgets, Laurent Wauquiez (LR) once again defended “impressive results” at the head of the Region, while “the finances of France are in a lamentable state, with 3,000 billion in debt.
“The contrast (with his community) is starting to become cruel,” added the candidate for the legislative elections in Haute-Loire, recalling that the Standard’s & Poor’s agency had downgraded France’s rating (AA-) while maintaining that of the Region (AA+) two notches above.
