A sad observation drawn up by the Val-d’Oise firefighters. As the good weather has returned, they have been mobilized every day for accidents involving motorcyclists since the start of the week.

On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, around 8:30 p.m., they intervened in Gonesse following a collision between a motorcycle and a car at 16, rue Claret. Following the collision, the circumstances of which remain to be determined by the police investigation, the two-wheeler caught fire. The incident was quickly extinguished using a fire extinguisher.

Evacuated in absolute emergency and under police escort

Seriously injured, the motorcyclist received first aid on site from the firefighters and a Samu 95 medical team before being evacuated in absolute emergencysous national police escortto the Beaujon hospital center, in Clichy (Hauts-de-Seine). Also taken care of by emergency services, the driver of the car was hospitalized in relative emergency.

Tuesday June 25, 2024, a 63-year-old motorcyclist was also seriously injured in an accident with a car in Montmorency. The sixty-year-old was transported in absolute emergency to the Georges-Pompidou hospital in Paris. The driver was taken urgently to Eaubonne hospital.
