AHMA Company to Build Bab Rha Underground Car Park in Meknes for More Than 72 Million Dirhams – Maghreb Intelligence

We know the service provider who will be responsible for the construction of the Bab Rha underground car park in the medina of Meknes. The Agency for the Development and Rehabilitation of the Medina of Fez (ADER-Fez) awarded this contract to the company AHMA (Aït Haj Moulay Abdelghani), an SARL based in Marrakech.

AHMA, the sole bidder in this contract, will receive 72.2 million dirhams for its services, significantly more than the initial estimated cost which was 69.3 million dirhams.

The construction of this car park is part of a rehabilitation and development program for the Meknes medina spread over the period 2019-2023.

With a total surface area of 9,000 m², including 5,300 m² to be built underground, Caen parking will provide a capacity of 400 parking spaces, in addition to a public square on the surface.

This future car park will be managed using the centralized Circontrol Outdoor system which makes it possible to count in real time the number of spaces available to direct users and regulate access to the car park in the event of saturation.

AHMA has successfully completed several major projects for the public sector, including the construction of several hospitals and courts such as the Guelmim Court of Appeal.
