Nîmes Festival: with Simple Man and The Offspring, the Arena shook to the sound of rock’n’roll! – News – Nîmes

This Wednesday, June 26 will undoubtedly go down in the annals of the Nîmes festival! Indeed, the famous Canadian group Simple Plan and the Californians The Offspring offered the public an incredible evening dedicated to rock’n’roll!

Last night, the Arènes de Nîmes were the scene of an epic rock evening as part of the Nîmes Festival. At 8:30 p.m., the concert began with Simple Plan, an emblematic Canadian group of the 2000s and pop punk. They literally set the stage on fire by playing their classics like “Welcome to my Life” and “Summer Paradise”, to the delight of their fans.

Then, it was time for the headliner: The Offspring! A legendary Californian punk rock band, they rocked the Arena with boundless energy, which was packed for the occasion! The enthusiastic and passionate fans sang and danced throughout the concert, singing along to their favorite songs. The pogo in the pit and the crowd surfing were evidence of the audience’s enthusiasm!

“In 2000 years of history, this place has never had a better audience,” exclaim guitarists and singers Dexter Holland and Noodles Wasserman, paying tribute to the electric atmosphere of the evening. Memorable guitar riffs, a truly impressive drum solo… the ideal recipe for a true celebration of rock!
