The Irréducible festival opens Friday June 28, 2024 on the Kerourien site, in Quimper. Nineteen artists and groups are on the bill for this second edition which runs until Sunday June 30.

To whet your appetite, we have prepared a little playlist for you. A musical journey in 12 rather eclectic tracks.

With Soldat Louis, Cali, Elmer Food Beat, let’s go back in time, “a time that those under 20 cannot know”, as Charles Aznavour (“La Bohème”) said. With “It’s When Happiness”, Cali enjoyed success in… 2003. The famous “Du rhum des femmes” by Soldat Louis became a hit upon its release in… 1988! The same year as the famous “Daniela” by Elmer Food Beat.

With his “melancholic and nostalgic electro-folk”, Broken Back, the young artist from Saint-Malo, has accumulated millions of listens on the web. He is also Breton but evolves in a completely different style: Jean-Baptiste Guégan is on tour with his new show, “Johnny, You and Me”, combining personal songs, rock standards and essential hits from his idol, Johnny Hallyday. Bretons still with the psychedelic rock group Komodrag & The Mounodor, one of the most scheduled groups this summer at the region’s festivals. Without forgetting the stage premises: Red Cardell. The group released “Bordel” in March 2024, an explosive 23rd album based on rock, folk, country, all against a backdrop of traditional Breton music.
