The ski season 2024-2025 soon to be launched. After a slight concern with an almost total absence of snow at the beginning of November, those involved in ski resorts in the Alps can be reassured.
A first episode of snowfall covered the Isère, Savoyard and Haut-Savoyard massifs in mid-November.
The weather forecasts announce that new accumulations of snow will fall again in the northern Alps. Excellent news for the stations since the opening of the slopes is planned in a few days for certain areas.
Here are the dates indicated by the ski resorts of Isère.
Openings from November
The largest resort in Isère, Alpe d'Huez, will officially open its ski lifts on Saturday November 30, 2024. Note that skiers should be able to enjoy the slopes until April 21, 2025.

- Auris-en-Oisans: December 7, 2024
- Autrans: December 21, 2024
- Chamrousse: November 30, 2024
- Col d’Ornon: December 28, 2024
- Marcieu Pass: December 7, 2024
- Col de Porte: December 28, 2024
- Corrençon-en-Vercors : 30 November 2024
- Gresse-en-Vercors: December 21, 2024
- Lans-en-Vercors: 21 December 2024
- Le Collet d’Allevard: December 21, 2024
- Les 2 Alpes: November 30, 2024
- Les 7 Laux: December 21, 2024
- Les Coulmes: date to be defined
- The Equals: December 21, 2024
- Méaudre: December 21, 2024
- OZ 3300: November 30, 2024
- Saint-Hilaire-du-Touvet: date to be defined
- Saint-Pierre-de-Chartreuse / Le Planolet: date to be defined

For medium and low altitude resorts, the opening date is subject to sufficient snow quantities to accommodate skiers.
Uncertainty is also present for the closure of ski lifts planned between March and April, depending on the resort.
