WINDSOR, ON, June 26, 2024 /CNW/ – On June 27, VIA Rail will host a media event at the Windsor to celebrate the arrival of its new trains in the southwest ofOntario.
Reaching this major stage of modernization means that the entire Quebec-Windsor will soon be served by state-of-the-art, modern, accessible and eco-responsible trains, which will completely transform the VIA Rail experience for decades to come.

As part of this event, guests and media will have the opportunity to board the new train for a short journey between Chatham et Windsor. From 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., they will have the opportunity to directly experience this new reality in terms of rail transport in Canada. Bus transport back to Chatham will be assured, arrival being scheduled for 4:15 p.m.
