The Ad Omega company is very recent in the Vannes (Morbihan) landscape. It offers assistance services following the loss of a loved one. “When a death occurs, people don’t have the energy to take steps, and there are between 15 and 20 organizations to contact to close internet accounts, unfreeze bank accounts, and all other administrative procedures”, explains Alain Foret, founder of Ad Omega. He knows what he is talking about. After having cut his teeth for almost 30 years in a community of municipalities and 15 years in Social Security, he is an expert in administration and in the legal processing of files.
An aging population
But it was a completely different event that sparked the idea of launching his business: “When I lost my father, I became aware of the difficulty of the process”. A year later, in April 2024, he launches. Supported by the Vannes technology park during its development, Alain Foret is confident in his company. Especially since in addition to supporting loved ones, he offers to prepare his funeral: “In 2020, there were 4.1 million French people aged 75 to 84, there will be 6.1 million in 2030. In France, the issue of death is often avoided, but it is important to prepare for it”. And this is precisely where Ad Omega comes in.
