The agreement, signed by the Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family, Aawatif Hayar, and the director responsible for the management of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, in the presence of Palestinian Minister of Social Development, Samah Abo Awn Hamad, aims to develop social assistance programs for vulnerable categories in Palestine and human development programs that focus on supporting the working population through projects related to social development. women’s empowerment and social protection.

This convention, whose signing ceremony took place in the presence of a Palestinian delegation led by the Minister of Al-Quds Affairs, Ashraf Al Aawar, aims to put in place social protection initiatives to support vulnerable families and protect orphaned children victims of war, by strengthening the action of the Agency’s partner institutions.

The same partnership aims to strengthen coordination with the Palestinian Ministry of Social Development to ensure material and moral support to the Palestinian population, especially displaced people, in order to help them overcome daily challenges and alleviate their suffering.

In a statement to the press, Ms. Hayar stressed that the partnership agreement illustrates the place occupied by Palestine in the hearts of all Moroccans and the special attention that His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Committee Quds, grant to the Palestinian cause.

This agreement, she added, also aims to promote economic empowerment initiatives for Palestinian women and achieve social justice by supporting productive families, and thus support Palestinian resistance.

After expressing her thanks to His Majesty King Mohammed VI, President of the Al-Quds Committee, for His constant support to the Palestinians, Ms. Hamad noted that “this cooperation is part of the numerous Moroccan initiatives aimed at supporting the resistance of the Palestinian people through the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, by creating socio-economic projects for the benefit of families in difficult situations”.

The Palestinian delegation, which includes officials from the governorates of Al-Quds and Gaza, began a visit to Morocco on Monday, which will last until Friday, at the invitation of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency.
