“Heat at its maximum on Thursday,” Météo-France predicted. The 35°C mark could also be exceeded in the South-East according to the forecaster’s latest bulletin.
Thus cities such as Toulouse, Reims, Montélimar and Auxerre will respectively be able to experience maximums of between 32°C and 35°C. Only the atmosphere in the Channel will cool down with a mercury between 20 and 25° C and a cloudy or even very cloudy sky.
A few locally stormy showers may occur this morning in New Aquitaine and western Occitanie. This unstable weather will shift towards the Massif Central, the Centre, Burgundy, the east of Île-de-France and the Grand Est then the Rhône-Alpes in the afternoon.
