Boating and electric vehicle enthusiasts will meet on June 28 and 29 in Hyères for the very first Azur Évasion event, organized by the Hyères dealership MiB Yacht Services. Aware of the contemporary challenges of sustainable mobility, the company offers a unique encounter where innovation, ecology and the pleasures of navigation and driving combine. On the quays of the port of Hyères, visitors will be able to discover the wonders of electric mobility with the presentation of the Eden brand, the 100% electric Méhari, and the brand new catamaran from Millikan Boats, the M9.

Eden and its electric Méhari: the reinvention of a legend

The manufacturer Eden is bringing the legendary Méhari back to life, this time in a 100% electric version. Classic car enthusiasts will be able to rediscover this icon from the 70s, revisited to meet current ecological requirements.

Available for test drives, the electric Méhari promises a unique driving experience, combining nostalgia and modernity.

Millikan Boats presents the M9: a nautical revolution

The real star of the event will undoubtedly be the M9 from Millikan Boats. Designed in collaboration with the Vincent Lebailly Yacht Design firm, this electro-solar catamaran embodies innovation made in France.

9.50 meters long and 3.40 meters wide, the M9 is manufactured in Saint-Malo and is particularly aimed at Mediterranean sailing enthusiasts with its characteristics optimized for comfort and durability.

The M9: a new navigation experience

The M9 stands out for its 100% electric concept, thanks to powerful solar panels accumulating more than 5 kW. Coupled with a 2 x 15 kW BlueNav propulsion, this catamaran reaches a top speed of 12 knots and offers almost unlimited autonomy at 6 knots.

With its large cockpit, two cabins and an integrated plancha, it promises moments of relaxation and pleasure at sea while respecting the environment.

Navigate and drive electric

Azur Évasion offers demonstrations at sea and on the road. Visitors will not only be able to admire the vehicles and boats on display, but also test them in real conditions.

An Eden will even be recharged directly by the M9, demonstrating the possible interconnection between maritime and land-based electrical technologies.
