Figure of SC Abbeville football, Gilles Graindor has died

The football club ofAbbevillethe SCA Picardy Coast is like an orphan with the disappearance of an emblematic figure of the blue and red.

Gilles Graindor died at the age of 78. A loyal volunteer who was honored by his favorite club during the general meeting in November 2023.

Gilles received the SCA coat of arms while his wife Annick, with whom he ran the refreshment bar for many years, was presented with a bouquet of flowers.

Arrived at the SCA in 1977

In this well-deserved tribute, the president of the SCA Laurent Vincent recalled how much this loyal leader and volunteer had devoted himself to his club. “Gilles arrived at the SCA in 1977. He has been part of Abbeville life for over 40 years, with a stint with our neighbors inUS Abbeville. Gilles was president of the youth section in the 80s, on the steering committee and present at the refreshment bar with your wife Annick.
