A resident of Dave received a three-year prison sentence with two thirds suspended on probation for having drugged and raped a lady, a resident of Flémalle. In April 2020, he went to the latter. Initially, it was planned that the person concerned would come to the site to lay parquet flooring. But the evening did not go as usual. Indeed, both protagonists used drugs. During the evening, they had sexual relations. The man filmed the antics. It appeared that the young woman was completely asleep at the time of the incident. Indeed, on the tapes, we can clearly hear him snoring…

Not able to consent

The court found that, in these conditions, the woman had not been able to give her free and informed consent and that she had been raped. During his appearance in court, the defendant mentioned a kind of game consisting of pretending that she was asleep during their lovemaking. An explanation which did not convince the court. The judge ruled that a person in a daze to the point of snoring is not in a state to consent to sexual intercourse. The court awarded a provisional 5,000 euros to the victim.

He stole a safe from a chip shop located in Wanze

The suspect is already known to the authorities. In fact, he notably obtained a work sentence after stealing a safe from a chip shop located in Wanze. On the night of January 28, 2020, around 2:30 a.m., he stole the safe which was not sealed in the wall.

During his descent down the stairs, he received the chest on the shin. In this case, he explained that he committed the acts because he owed a debt to his dealer. It is therefore still in a context of drug addiction that these new facts occurred a few months after the safe theft.
