A sporting day. This Monday November 18the Departmental Council of Tarn-et-Garonne revealed date and place of the next Cross of the future 2024.
Meet at Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave
“The 2024 Cross of the Future events will be contested at the leisure center Saint-Nicolas-de-la-Grave the Wednesday November 20“, communicated the Department.
Organized by the National School Sports Union of Tarn-et-Garonne (UNSS 82), in partnership with the Departmental Council, this meeting will take place as follows:
- 10 hours : high school races
- 11:30 a.m. : course “fun”
- 12 hours : high school concert
- 1 p.m. : college races
- 14h45 : college podiums
At the end of each race, the winner will be awarded the title of departmental cross-country champion (depending on its category).
An orientation forum set up
This event, which is part of the legacy of the Olympic Games, will be associated with a Guidance Forum. Targeted on the themes of sportof corps and the healththis will bring together no less than 32 standsi.e. a total of nearly 200 exhibitors. “For the students, it is an opportunity toexchange with professionals from different backgrounds“, welcomes the Department.
In total, more than 2,000 middle and high school students Tarn-et-Garonnais are expected at the Saint-Nicolas leisure center.
