People cannot physically access certain services and have difficulty doing so, our role is to help them by taking into account the human side, which is very important.underlines Fabienne Ardelet, legal advisor to the association Coordination des liens des interaides des services (Cles), created in 2000. With Catherine Patrigeon, part-time secretary, she is one of the two employees of this structure based in Châteauroux , which operates in the departments of Indre and Cher.

Very different scenarios

Every two months, she is on duty at the Argenton-sur-Creuse social services hotel, accompanied by Nicole Barre, local delegate. The public concerned is made up of sick, disabled and accident victims, young people or adults, wishing to make their rights known in terms of care, recognition and compensation.

These meetings relate to areas as diverse as disabling or occupational illnesses, work, traffic and life accidents, files from the Departmental Center for Disabled Persons, continued employment, or files of retirement, give rise to administrative and online operations, supplemented by advice and personalized monitoring.

“The cases are very different, and the spirit is not to engage in a contentious approach but to provide social support, so that people can access their rights and fair compensation with the competition from different organizations”, specify Fabienne Ardelet and Nicole Barre who received around twenty people at the social services hotel in 2023, a figure already exceeded this year, which proves the merits of these permanences supplemented, if necessary, by trips to their homes.

Publishing a Solidarity Partners notebook

The association, authorized by Aidants Connect and supported by the Centre-Val de Region, which aims above all to be a local service, with fifteen branches, has just published a Solidarity Partners booklet intended for its 700 members. The document will notably be distributed on Thursday February 6, 2025 in Argenton-sur-Creuse, during a general assembly also bringing together the sectors of Saint-Gaultier and Saint-Benoît-du-Sault.

Open on the first Tuesday of odd months, from 2:15 p.m. to 5 p.m., at the Argenton-sur-Creuse social services hotel, by appointment at 02.54.35.46.02 or 06.21.59.18.27. Email: [email protected] or [email protected]. www.association-cles.fr
