The Landes firefighters are mobilizing once again for the 2024 Telethon! This year, the Fire and Rescue Centers of Rion-des-Landes, Lesperon, Lit-et-Mixe, Saint Julien-en-Born, Mézos, Onesse-Laharie, Pontenx-les-Forges and Mimizan are organizing a sporting event and unmissable solidarity: a big bike relay across the Landes.
When and where?
Date : Saturday November 30, 2024
Departure and journey : A route crossing 15 emblematic communes of the Landes, including Rion-des-Landes, Lesperon, Lévignacq, Uza, Lit-et-Mixe, Saint Julien-en-Born, Bias, Mézos, Onesse-Laharie, Escource, Pontenx-les- Forges, Saint Paul-en-Born, Aureilhan and Mimizan.
The relay is open to allyoung and old, experienced or amateur athletes. Everyone is invited to cycle in a friendly atmosphere for a great cause.
Conditions of participation
- Inscription : No registration necessary, participation is free!
- Back : Each participant must organize their own return home.
- Responsibility : The firefighters point out that they accept no responsibility in the event of an accident or theft.
Solidarity actions for all
Since October 30, 2024, donation boxes have been installed in town halls and businesses in the villages crossed by the relay. Each euro collected will directly contribute to the Telethon's actions to fight against rare diseases.
For participants and spectators, a gourmet break is planned: Possibility of catering on site in Onesse-Laharie at lunchtime.
