The teacher, an English professor at the Rempart-Vinci high school, located in the 7th arrondissement of Marseille, was informed of these threats by “a screenshot of comments posted on Snapchat
on a group called ‘Rempart 5’ . Threats”explicit” which also led to a report to the public prosecutor. “The rector of the academy takes this matter very seriously,” indicates the rectorate. The teacher filed a complaint.

A police investigation is underway. “Legal protection and support “At the Republic school, no threats, no attacks against a teacher is not acceptable”, denounced in a press release the president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, Renaud Muselier, saying he stood “alongside the teachers, last ramparts in the face of conspiracy, racism and anti-Semitism”.

According to Le Figaro, “the teacher’s son, a final year student in the same high school, is also the target of a real ‘campaign’ of moral harassment launched by students of the establishment. A photo of the teenager dating back several years would be at the heart of these extremely violent mockeries, with one of the students having written that he had to be killed.
