On the fourth floor of its store, Midica has changed the appearance of its terrace. Larger, more planted, with elegant furniture, Gigiland is the ideal place to stroll while savoring quality products.

Tables but also rattan armchairs filled with cozy cushions, benches covered in tropical fabrics placed on wooden pallets in front of base tables, all adorn a wooden terrace topped with a row of taupe-colored parasols and dotted with large pots of flowers, with cleverly chosen compositions. This is the new decor of the Gigiland terrace, located on the fourth floor of the Midica store, in Esquirol, in the heart of Toulouse. As unexpected as it is charming, this haven of peace, wedged in the middle of red tiled roofs, now offers 50 seats.

It is the work of three Gigigirlds: Florence De Le Rue, Rosine Pelletier and Emma Tissier. “We wanted people to feel at home here, while being calm,” announces Florence De Le Rue, dietician and general manager of Gigilang in charge of menus and communication.

Open from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (during Midica hours), Gigiland offers a very nice healthy-gourmet breakfast, with its chia seeds, fresh fruit, whipped cream, pressed juices, which are a change from classic pastries …”, explains Florence. Added to this are the usual lunch, snack and aperitif offers.

“The space is much more pleasant, we are on a cozy and intimate terrace. It is a unique place in Toulouse where the atmosphere is really special,” assures Rosine Pelletier, operational director.

Paola Romana, creator of Urban Gardens, designed the landscaping. “I wanted to create a link between food and the garden,” she explains. For this, she imagined QR codes which allow you to discover plants (fig tree, olive tree, sage, verbena, rosemary, bay leaf, borage, tulbaghia, agave, etc.) and their benefits, during a plant journey.

This Sunday, during the sales, Gigiland will be exceptionally open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
