A remarkable starting grid

For this fifth round of the championship, 37 cars will be on the starting grid. They will be distributed as follows: 19 Hypercars and 18 LMGT3. Remember that Alpine, BMW, Cadillac, Ferrari, Isotta Fraschini, Lamborghini, Peugeot, Porsche and Toyota will be competing in Hypercar while the LMGT3 category will feature: Aston Martin, BMW, Corvette, Ford, Ferrari, Lexus, Lamborghini, McLaren and Porsche.

Two Brazilian drivers to follow

Brazilian fans will be able to cheer on two local drivers. Nicolas Costa will be at the wheel of the #59 United Autosports McLaren 720S LMGT3 Evo. Another Brazilian talent will be in the #31 Team WRT BMW M4 LMGT3: Augusto Farfus. His return home is an event not to be missed.

Two driver changes

The entry list for these 6 Hours of São Paulo presents two notable adjustments. In Hypercar, the #99 Proton Competition Porsche 963 will be driven by Neel Jani and Julien Andlauer while Harry Tincknell will be absent.
In LMGT3, the #78 Lexus RC F LMGT3 of the Akkodis ASP team will see Austrian Clemens Schmid take the wheel in place of Timur Boguslavskiy. Schmid has already driven this car at Spa-Francorchamps, replacing Boguslavskiy, who was ill.

Interlagos, a fantastic playground for the FIA WEC

Toyota and Porsche have already won at São Paulo, a circuit that is particularly demanding for drivers due to its many elevation changes. With its 4.3 km length, its 15 turns and its anti-clockwise layout. Even the most seasoned pilots will be put to the test.

The start will be given on Sunday July 14 at 11:30 a.m. (4:30 p.m. Paris time).
