After finishing the 2023-2024 season in tenth place, AS Niort will start a new cycle. And the Niort squad, which will still be managed by Laurent Hay, has been thoroughly overhauled. Thus, while five players are leaving the club (Thibaud Merceron, Boubacar Sidibé, Ribar Baikoua, Pape Seydi and Damien Gara), four players are going the other way.

The arrivals of Samuel Alouekey (Pornic, position 5, 26 years old) and Hugo Cluysen (Spain, positions 3/4, 26 years old) were recorded at the beginning of June. Trained at AS Niort, Alban Lambinet, a 17-year-old 1.98m winger, returns to the club after a season in the colors of Stade Rochelais in the U18 Elite. Two other recruits were announced this Friday, June 28.

A group of ten players

Thus, the American Ringo Dau joins AS Niort from the Norwegian club Nidaros Jets. Almost 28 years old (he will celebrate his birthday on July 7), the 1.96 m player plays as a full-back or winger.

Rollings Kamanda is the fourth and final Niort recruit. The 2.04 m pivot, aged 21, played last season with the Nanterre hopefuls, after having attended the youth teams of Asvel.

The squad will be completed by Fabien Bondron, Quentin Moretto, Pierre Cellerier, Titouan Lhériau, Yacine Debache.
