The department of Kaolack was the scene of a real plebiscite for “Pastëf”. During the recent legislative elections, this coalition won 67,114 votes, or 60.19% of the votes cast. In second place, “Takku Wallu” received 17,430 votes, representing 15.74% of the total.
Behind these two heads of the list, the “Federation of Renewal” led by Dr Macoumba Diouf won 5,125 votes with a score of 4.63%. The “Jamm AK Njerin” combination was satisfied with 4,105 votes, or 3.71%.
Continuing this provisional ranking, “Samm Sa Kaddu” obtained 3,567 votes, or 3.41%. The “And Suxali Production Transport AK Commerce” coalition recorded 1,267 votes, corresponding to 1.14%.
In seventh position, “Sopi Senegal” garnered 1,082 votes, or 0.98%, followed by “And Ligguey Sunu Rew” with 765 votes at 0.69%. “Sénégal Késé” closed this top nine with 687 votes, 0.62%.
More in the background, “La Multinationalité Jël linou Moom” scored 0.9% with 669 votes. “Jubanti Senegal” and “The march of Andu Nawlé territories” placed with 575 votes each, totaling an identical percentage of 0.49%.
Among the 41 lists examined this electoral Sunday, the “Farlu” coalition obtained 466 votes, accounting for 0.42%, while the Union of Patriotism Groups positioned itself with 441 votes, or 0.4%.
